Damn right this should have happened ! Seriously f%$k this guy.
Your parodies made me want to re-watch the whole anime, I'm 9 episodes in the 3 book. And I figured out something : the whole book didn't need Zaheer. He just feels out of place. And very Mary-sue-y. Every scene where he's not is interesting. The rebuilding of the Air nation, the travels, Korra's bad contact with the press, the difficulties humans and spirits have living together, there was enough material. Hell just focusing on Lin and Suyin was awesome. I loved how they just punched each other to solve their issues.
Also, chief Bei Fong holding her own like that in the mental and physical state she was in? So badass
